About this role
This role is for a construction professional who specializes in shop drawings and 3D renderings for custom stair and railing projects. You will turn measurements and plans into accurate fabrication drawings and client-ready visual renderings for a company that designs, fabricates, and installs made-to-order stair and railing systems.
What you’ll do
- Create clean, accurate shop drawings for custom stairs and railings.
- Develop 3D models and renderings for client presentation and approval.
- Convert field measurements into detailed fabrication drawings.
- Update and revise drawings based on design changes.
- Support basic takeoffs and pricing when needed.
What we’re looking for
- Strong shop drawing experience for stairs, railings, and fabrication.
- Strong 3D rendering capability for client-facing presentations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable CAD software.
- Understanding of materials, connections, and build details.
Nice to have
- Experience with U.S. construction standards.
- Experience with Bluebeam or other takeoff tools.
- Basic estimation and pricing experience.
