About this role
You will review architectural drawings and Site Safety Plans for scaffolding projects, perform takeoffs for systems such as sidewalk sheds and pipe scaffolding, and produce accurate PDF plan markups that reflect actual site conditions. You will extract dimensions, quantities and elevations from construction documents, compare the issued drawings against field information sent in by onsite teams, and coordinate revised markups with project personnel and permit expediters for permitting submissions. The work is fully remote and you will manage your own assigned projects. Prior scaffolding experience is not required: training is provided on scaffolding systems, Site Safety Plans, NYC permitting requirements and project workflows. What the role does require is strong drawing interpretation, accuracy with dimensions, and the judgment to spot a discrepancy between a plan and the field before it reaches the permitting stage. Candidates are evaluated through a sample drawing exercise covering plan reading, measurement accuracy, discrepancy identification and markup quality.
