About this role
You will perform construction takeoffs on exterior scope - roofing, EIFS, and siding - for U.S. projects, working hands-on in PlanSwift from floor plans and elevations. You will read what the drawings do and do not give, flag gaps and inconsistencies rather than assuming, keep quantities accurate and well documented, and hand off cleanly to estimators and project managers. A sample takeoff is welcome if you have one, but it is not required to apply. It is a fully remote role open to candidates in India and the Philippines, working U.S. business hours (approximately 8 AM to 5 PM EST/CST).
What you’ll do
- Perform construction takeoffs on roofing, EIFS, and siding scope for U.S. projects in PlanSwift.
- Work from floor plans and elevations, flagging gaps and inconsistencies rather than assuming.
- Produce accurate, complete, and well-documented quantities.
- Hand off cleanly to estimators and project managers.
- Coordinate takeoffs across project revisions and questions.
What we’re looking for
- At least two years of construction takeoff experience in roofing, EIFS, or siding.
- Hands-on PlanSwift proficiency for takeoff, not just generic estimating tools.
- The ability to work from floor plans and elevations and flag gaps rather than assume.
- Quantity accuracy and clean, complete, documented output.
- Clear communication and clean handoffs to estimators and project managers.
- Availability for full U.S. business hours (approximately 8 AM to 5 PM EST/CST).
Nice to have
- Construction estimating experience beyond takeoffs.
- Familiarity with cost databases or estimating software beyond PlanSwift.
- Knowledge of U.S. building codes and material specifications for roofing and exterior systems.
- Experience working remotely with U.S.-based construction clients.
