Paralegal / Legal Case Manager

RemoteFull-TimeWorking hours to be confirmed during hiring

This role is open to applicants based in India or the Philippines. You will manage family law cases from the first client intake to completion: drafting and reviewing agreements, filings, declarations and legal correspondence, coordinating with clients, attorneys and other parties, and explaining every step to clients in clear, simple language. Clients are often going through divorce, custody and other difficult personal situations, so empathy and confidentiality matter as much as legal skill. At least three years of paralegal or legal experience is required, and an LLB or an equivalent legal qualification is strongly preferred. Purely administrative or customer service backgrounds are not a fit. Training on the organization's own case procedures is provided.

Remote, full-time paralegal and legal case manager based in India or the Philippines: draft and review legal documents, manage family law cases from intake to completion, and guide clients through divorce, custody and arbitration matters with clear, empathetic communication.

About this role

You will join a growing organization that helps clients through divorce proceedings and related family law matters, working as a Paralegal / Legal Case Manager alongside senior team members and attorneys. The role combines legal documentation with client-facing case management. You will manage assigned cases from the first client intake through completion; draft and review agreements, filings, declarations and legal correspondence related to divorce, custody, arbitration and other family law matters; carry out legal research and interpret complex legal language; and keep many active cases moving within their deadlines using trackers and structured filing systems. You will be a main point of contact for clients throughout the life of their case, coordinating with clients, attorneys, opposing parties and internal team members. Many clients are going through emotionally difficult personal circumstances, so you must be able to explain legal documents and procedural requirements in clear, simple language and handle sensitive conversations with empathy, patience and professionalism. The ideal candidate holds an LLB or an equivalent legal qualification and has at least three years of hands-on experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, legal associate, legal executive or legal case manager in a law firm, legal department or legal services organization. Strong legal drafting, familiarity with family law matters, excellent English and the ability to work independently and manage several priorities are essential. Experience supporting U.S.-based law firms or attorneys and familiarity with U.S. legal documentation are an advantage. Purely administrative or customer service backgrounds without a strong legal foundation are not a fit. Training on the organization's own case procedures is provided, so prior experience with them is not required.
