About this role
We're hiring a commercial kitchen designer who can take a project from layout through accurate equipment takeoff and estimation. You'll produce precise kitchen layouts and equipment specifications where small errors are costly — so attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential.
What you’ll do
- Produce accurate commercial kitchen layout designs in AutoCAD or Revit.
- Perform equipment takeoffs and prepare detailed estimates.
- Create equipment specification sheets and schedules with correct model numbers, measurements, and specs.
- Work directly from client requirements with minimal supervision.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on commercial kitchen design experience.
- Strong equipment takeoff and estimation experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (either is acceptable).
- Sharp attention to detail with accurate model/spec data entry.
- Ability to work independently and execute without extended training.
Nice to have
- AutoQuotes or KCL CADalog experience.
- Photography of kitchen layouts or equipment.
