About this role
We're sourcing an experienced specifier of commercial architectural hardware. You'll produce complete door hardware specifications and hardware sets, ensure fire-rating, life-safety and accessibility compliance, and prepare clean construction documentation that holds up in the field. This is a remote, full-time role working U.S. business hours.
What you’ll do
- Produce complete commercial door hardware specifications.
- Build hardware sets and assign them opening-by-opening.
- Ensure fire-rated, life-safety, and ADA/accessibility compliance.
- Prepare and coordinate construction documentation.
- Resolve RFIs and review hardware submittals with the project team.
What we’re looking for
- Experience with commercial architectural hardware specifications.
- Knowledge of architectural / construction documentation.
- Experience with specification software tools.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong coordination skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with eMullion or similar architectural specification software.
- Architectural millwork project experience.
