About this role
We build complex, high-performance Android apps that have to stay fast and smooth on low-end devices. This role is for an engineer who knows Android deeply enough to solve problems most developers consider impossible — and who can prove it on the spot.
What you’ll do
- Build native Android apps that stay fast and responsive on low-end hardware.
- Diagnose and fix memory, battery, and background-execution problems.
- Profile and tune performance using Android's debugging and profiling tools.
- Deliver features others consider impractical on constrained devices.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years hands-on native Android (Kotlin/Java, Android Studio).
- Native only — no Flutter, React Native, or cross-platform tooling.
- Strong memory management, performance, and background-services expertise.
- Deep knowledge of Android internals, profiling, and debugging.
Nice to have
- JNI/NDK for performance-critical paths.
