About this role
This role begins where ordinary Amazon work fails. A listing is taken down, an ASIN is suppressed, a policy warning lands on the account, or the account itself goes under review, and someone has to get that decision reversed in writing. That someone is you. Day to day you would write appeals and plans of action against real enforcement, decide what evidence each allegation actually requires, open and drive cases with Amazon until they are resolved rather than merely answered, and assemble the invoices and supply records a reinstatement depends on. The work is judgment as much as writing: an authenticity complaint and a condition complaint look similar from the outside and need completely different responses, an infringement notice is often settled with the rights owner rather than with Amazon at all, and an appeal that blames the buyer does not get reinstated. It is also a communication job. Sellers under enforcement are anxious and the account health picture changes daily, so you would be expected to say what has moved, what is still open and what you need from them before anyone has to ask.
What you’ll do
- Write appeals and plans of action against suspensions, policy warnings and account restrictions
- Handle product authenticity and product condition complaints, and identify what evidence each one actually requires
- Handle intellectual property and brand infringement notices, including resolution with the rights owner where that is the faster route
- Work listing and ASIN suppressions and restricted product notices through to reinstatement
- Open Amazon cases in the correct channel, drive them, and escalate when a case stalls or returns a templated non-answer
- Assemble and organise supporting evidence: supplier invoices, bills of lading, purchase orders and purchase records
- Identify and recover reimbursements owed on lost or damaged inventory, incorrect fees and unreturned units
- Monitor the account health dashboard and flag deterioration before it reaches a threshold
- Keep the seller informed on a cadence you set yourself, including when the news is bad
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience with Amazon account health, appeals and disputes specifically, not general Amazon account management
- Demonstrated experience writing appeals and plans of action that were submitted to Amazon
- Working knowledge of Amazon policy enforcement categories and the different evidence bar each one carries
- Experience opening, driving and escalating cases through Seller Central case channels
- Ability to assemble evidence documents and judge whether a document will be accepted rather than merely whether it is genuine
- Professional written English at appeal standard: clear, structured and neutral in tone
- Proactive status communication without being chased
- Able to work U.S. business hours, 9 AM to 6 PM ET
Nice to have
- Amazon reimbursement recovery experience
- Experience resolving complex or significant Amazon suspensions
- Experience managing bundled or multi-component product IP claims
- Experience working with U.S.-based Amazon sellers or e-commerce businesses
- Strong research and documentation skills
- Familiarity with expanding or developing reimbursement processes
